Kia ora Marshland whānau,
This term all tamariki will be learning, building on, and practising their pepehā.
A pepehā is a way of introducing ourselves in te reo Māori. To introduce ourselves we should tell the story of how we arrived here, and the story does not start with ourselves!!!
Here is an example of Jacqui, Riki, Taryn and I giving our pepehā - https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1cWNmoB_ltYAnQFuawsgMBl8Ok6vBlYoVI5pi6c0iyK8/edit?usp=sharing
Please encourage your tamariki to recite their pepehā to you.
