Celebrating Matariki in the Pukeko Hub

This term the whole school has been learning about, and celebrating Matariki. The Pukeko Nest celebrated by learning a new dance, making beautiful artwork, and sharing kai with their big buddies from Toroa.

Term 2 Te Reo Māori Focus - Pepehā

Kia ora Marshland whānau, This term all tamariki will be learning, building on, and practising their pepehā. A pepehā is a way of introducing ourselves in te reo Māori. To introduce ourselves we should tell the story of how we arrived here, and the story does not start with ourselves!!!
